BAPTISM OF THE LORD
. . . Matthew 3:13-17
Today’s reading tells about the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River. By baptizing
Jesus, John lets everyone know that the messiah is not coming, he is already here.
When Jesus came up from the water he heard God’s voice say, “This is my beloved
Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
Describe a time when have you done something that revealed Christ’s presence.
Describe a time or situation when you have felt that God was pleased with you.
