Mass is the foundation and primary source of worship in the life of a Catholic. Attending Mass is about being in the presence of God and spending time with Him, but is also about receiving His graces to live the Christian faith daily. This is an inner strength we receive when we're in the presence of Jesus. The name 'Mass' comes from the Latin ‘Ite missa es’, which is the final blessing said during the mass:  “Go, the Mass is ended.”, meaning “to send out” as Jesus sent his disciples out to the world to share His teachings.  Thanks be to God!
